I have installed just a few languages, but still "all the wrong"
languages show up.
When you say you have installed just a few languages, do you mean in the LibreOffice Windows
installer? There you select what *user interface* languages are available, not what languages
LibreOffice has writing aids support for.
I.e. you can for instance have the LibreOffice interface in German but write a document in English,
with spell checking.
