From my personal point of view - absolutely. But I guess this depends on
the preferences of the person who would do the pulling and should be
discussed on an individual basis? (Note that I don't have any say or
clout in the community of committers)
But it's a good point, I'll include that in the help section as an
alternative to "preparing patches".
