I started with a first hint about installation on Linux-RPM.
Thnks :-)
I don't see any hint for what I experience (trying to do parallel
installation):
  $ tar -zxvf ../LibO_3.3.0_beta2_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US.tar.gz
  tar: this doesn't look as a tar-archive
I know the deb package is experimental.
I am not familiar enough with Linux to do find myself a smart solution.
