a) Printing in math of equations by default now includes only the
equation itself, not a frame around the equation + the content of the
raw formula code which generates the equation. This is just a toggle of
the existing options in tools->options->math->print. One rationale is
that for largish equations the formula text and formula itself overlap
seeing as math can only print to a single sheet and toggling off extra
content makes this less likely to happen, the other is that they're not
what you'd expect to see in your printout by default IMO.
b) Number recognition in writer for tables is toggled off by default.
Lost track of the number of bewildered people that this totally baffles
when content in their tables "jumps around and reformats" when that
kicks in.
I don't think these are controversial.
