[libreoffice-design] (Proposal) New design for the ruler in LibreOffice

The ruler in LibreOffice has a classic design, and the same design is used in Writer, Impress and 
Draw. Anyone who has used Calligra, iWork or software such as Inkscape or Scribus, you will see 
that the design of the ruler responds to a skeuomorph and is much more simple and practical than 
currently used in LibreOffice, especially in Impress and Draw. (It is easier to read and interpret).


In the case of MS Visio, the ruler design is similar to that seen in Inkscape or Dia. For Word or 
PowerPoint, use of the ruler is provided with dynamic view of the exact measure of the section to 
change margins or automatic positioning measurements (millimeters, inches, etc.).

In addition to increasing the functionality (especially in Draw), LibreOffice get a more modern 
look.


Whereas it is not a priority, could the design team considered an improvement?
