Hello Jose,

Thank you for your interest and your quick reply.

Please let me provide a few clarifications.

First and foremost, we are not directly related with the TDF. That is to
say, we monitor the subject because we understand that there is a growing
need about Certifying skills in an open-source software, such as
LibreOffice, but we are always a private company.

Our part in the Ecosystem could be the contribution towards familiarizing
the End-Users as well as the Enterprise world with the benefits of personnel
that uses open-source software. We strongly hold that once the End-Users
become more familiar with operating LibreOffice, the decision for migration
will be easier. Bearing that in mind, we developed an End-User Certificate
to certify the existence of the adequate skillset.

The recent situation at the City of Munich, comes to support these claims:
If the End-Users were better trained, they would have either faced less
"severe issues related to software", or the percentage of the users facing
severe issues would have been significantly smaller.

That had been our main concern actually back in 2012 at the Berlin 2012
LibreOffice Conference, but, unfortunately -as it turns out-, the
certification of the end-User's skills had been disregarded.

We have developed the assessment system for the DIPLOMA Human Resources
Certification Body (www.diploma.edu.gr <http://www.diploma.edu.gr> ), which
comes as a third-party to assess the skills and certify with increase
integrity the skillset of the End-Users. Currently it is only available in
Greek, however, if you, or other members of the TDF believe that providing
such services would benefit the Community, we are interested in raising a
topic concerning the development of such a Certification System in Spanish,
or in other languages, according to the demand.

As far as the training is concerned, we provide online, interactive
training. Our product is TEST4U and you can take a better look by
downloading our free demo here: https://www.test4u.eu/en/demo or send a
test-assessment directly to the End-Users' e-mail address here:
https://www.test4u.eu/en/hr.

Regards

Stelios

Hello Jose,

I am contacting you on behalf of the DIPLOMA Human Resources Certification
Body on the occasion that I have read your request for LibreOffice
Certification Training. We have developed a series of Certificates for the
assessment of LibreOffice skills, either separately, or in conjunction.

Our strategic partner, infolearn, has developed TEST4U, a testing/training
platform for assessing employees' skills that works with the real
LibreOffice application (not multiple choice questions). You can preview the
TEST4U demo here: https://www.test4u.eu/en/download-demo.

and a list of our assessment tests here: https://www.test4u.eu/en/hr

The demo contains 15 sample questions, but the full version contains many
more, as well as the option to create your own set of questions, test the
candidate at your office or deliver the test remotely. In case you need a
very specific assessment, we do provide custom solutions as well.

You can contact us for further information via
https://www.test4u.eu/en/contactus.

Best Regards
