Don,
At this point, I would recommend not working with the 4.2 releases if you require AT support.
Instead, the first release candidate for LibreOffice 4.3 is available here on the mirror network:
http://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/?version=4.3.0
Or directly from these links on the TDF development servers here:
http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/pre-releases/win/x86/LibreOffice_4.3.0.1_Win_x86.msi
http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/pre-releases/win/x86/LibreOffice_4.3.0.1_Win_x86_helppack_en-US.msi
Language help files other than Englihs US, are also posted there.
When installed, version 4.3.x forward will activate IAccessible2 based AT when an AT (JAWS for
example) is detected in use.

The only installer I could find was libraoffice 4.2.5 for x86. Maybe I didn't go
to the right download site :)

Top posting answer to Don,
Please take a moment and post up the actual version of LibreOffice, or
LibreOffice Development you are working with.
Found from the Main menu bar, Help about panel.
Alt+F -- position to File on the main menu
<Escape> -- close the File menu
Alt+H -- position to the Help menu
B -- open the aBout panel
Considerable differences between the 4.2, 4.3 and the development 4.4
builds.

Subject: [libreoffice-accessibility] libraoffice on windows 8.1
Hello,
I tried installing the latest version of libraoffice on windows 8.1 with jdk
1.7.0_65, and JAWS 15.0.10026.
When I launched swriter.exe, I got no accessibility support at all.
Is there something special I need to do to enable accessibility?
