Actually, that CLASSPATH, if set, would more correctly be:

CLASSPATH = ".;C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\lib\ext" 

The initial default path for user class objects should be the  current
directory, so it  requires  the preceding  period in ".;" when it is
defined.
