Hi :)
Ahh, it's good to know someone that is kinda in the BoD is here.  If i was a member i would vote in
favour of Sophie just for that if nothing else but there are plenty other good reasons to vote for
her too imo.  Similarly with Jean although most of the reasons are different.

The wiki-page for bug-reporting is probably not perfect and could do with some editing to make it
easier to understand.  It does get the job done though.  Top marks to whoever wrote it.

A resource that is often over-looked is "people".  There is likely to be  lot of other people that
follow the Paralympics that had no interest in watching the corporate-sponsored Olympics earlier in
August.  Even people not following it might be vaguely aware of it.  It's a good time to make
people on other lists aware of issues within Libra Office.  As confirmed by Sophie i'm not a good
man for that task.

Regards from
Tom :)

Hi Tom,

Hi :) I think right now is an excellent time to push any
Accessibility Agendas to a wide variety of lists.  Sadly people on
most lists ignore me or disagree with anything i say sometimes purely
because it's me that's saying it.

First, paralympics unfortunately won't have any influence on our resources. I hope that you have
enough confidence in us to trust that if we don't look at something right when we are aware of it,
it's not because of lack of interest. We try to manage our resources for the best for all our
users, but unfortunately we are also quite short here.

Second, we don't ignore or disagree with what you said because of you, it's not personal, but
sometimes you give your opinion on something
you have no idea about. Because most of us are reading a lot of lists, are doing a lot in the
project, we just ignore what you said (i.e because it's not a real answer) or sometimes we may over
react because we have lost some precious time reading one of your mail and it didn't bring any
added value for us. We are not right, you are not wrong, we both (you and us) need to think before
replying. Your reply will be read, but this time may be taken from others in the community who may
be in more needs (and I hope that my English is enough to explain that it's not against you at all.)
So, can other people push any of the ideas of current (or past)
threads to any of the other lists?  Is anyone here on the BoD?  I've
been told that the "discuss@" list is a good place to reach the BoD
but i tend to find Marketing is reaches quite a lot of them.

The board has nothing to do here. The board is here to manage the foundation (administration,
expenses, etc...) and eventually conflicts that may appear in the community. The request from Alex
should be directed to the QA list because he his willing to bring some attention on a special area
of the product, however this area belongs to the QA subproject, and may be he should be sent to the
wiki for more information on how to fill a bug.

Kind regards
Sophie
