Welcome to the openSUSE + LibreOffice Conference. PLEASE READ. If you
have issues with the login, please re-read the instructions below.

UTC
All talks are scheduled in UTC time.

You can register for the conference at https://oslo.gonogo.live/. It is
IMPORTANT to check your email (check spam) for a link to activate your
account. Then login to the system using the full email address you used
when creating your account and your password. Your password will need to
be a strong password, otherwise you may get an error.

Tour
PLEASE take the time go through the tour. If you click on the upper left
menu, there is a TOUR that everyone can view. Please read it.

Viewing media

Make sure you have the media codecs needed on your system. Chrome is a
good browser for this for those who are using non-Linux systems. If
you're using Fedora and the conference doesn't show video for you, set
things up as described at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/OpenH264. For
openSUSE systems, check https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Install_Packman_codecs

Entering the Platform
Please have the correct hardware. The platform is not made for mobile
devices. Headphones that plug into your computer/laptop will provide the
best audio. Using wireless headphones could likely cause audio issues.
Using wifi can cause issues with audio/video for an attendee depending
on the user's local environment; please consider using an Ethernet
connection.

Join a session
Most users will default to an all sessions area where they will select
to “add” the sessions they would like to view. You will only be able to
view sessions that you joined.

After selecting the session, navigate to EVENT HOME and scroll over the
presentation area. There you will see a “little green door” in the
bottom left of the presentation area. Click on the green door. ALL USERS
ENTER IN MUTE mode. Please keep muted unless you are one of the
speakers. A RED microphone means you have a hot/open mic. You can share
your camera if you would like.

Leave a session
When a session is over or you want to leave a session, click on the same
“little green door”, which should be yellow when you are in a session.
YOU MUST do this to exit a session and join the next session.

Chat
There is a session chat in each session. There is also a questions chat
space for questions for the speakers.

Other noteworthy advice.
Try a different browser if you are having difficulty with the UI. You
may also have to refresh your browser occasionally.

Conduct

We ask all attendees to abide by the code of conduct found at
https://en.opensuse.org/Code_of_Conduct

Audio and Visuals
Please do a system checks and make sure your webcam and audio are
working at appropriate times. You might have to dismiss permissions and
refresh your browser if the audio is not working properly. Another thing
to consider is the lighting while sharing your camera. Please use a well
lite area if possible.

Doug
