Υπάρχει η δυνατότητα να γίνει κάποιος μέλος του The Document Foundation,

Υπάρχει κάποιο πρακτικό όφελος για την ελληνική κοινότητα από κάτι τέτοιο;
Λογικά το καλύτερο είναι να γίνει μέλος κάποιο άτομο ή εταιρεία που να έχει
επένδυση ("stake") στο LibreOffice (είτε λόγω χρήσης εντός της εταιρείας είτε
λόγω παροχής υπηρεσιών/υποστήριξης πάνω στο LibreOffice).
Σε τέτοια περίπτωση είναι εύκολο το άτομο ή η εταιρεία να δικαιολογήσουν το
χρόνο που απαιτείται για τη συνεχή προσφορά / συμμετοχή στη βελτίωση του
LibreOffice που ζητά το TDF.
Για μένα δυστυχώς είναι πολύ δύσκολο αυτή τη στιγμή να δικαιολογήσω τέτοια
δέσμευση χρόνου δεδομένου ότι ακόμα και σπίτι μου ελάχιστα χρησιμοποιώ το
LibreOffice αυτή τη στιγμή.
