Ich konnte mittlerweile das Problem lösen, indem ich von Java.com Java 8
installiert habe, sodass ich Java jetzt zweimal habe:
1) Eclipse Adoptium\jdk-17.0.20.101-hotspot,
2) s\Java\jre1.8.0_503.
Beide sind in LO sichtbar und jetzt läuft es wieder.

Welche Meldungen bekommst Du? Die HSQLDB (Base) sowie die Assistenten in
Base und der Report Builder benötigen Java. Sonst nichts - es sei denn
irgendeine Extension.
