Hallo Egon,
ich bin kein Windows-Nutzer, könnte mir aber vorstellen, dass mit einer Einstellung unter 
Optionen → LibreOffice → Online-Aktualisierungen
das automatische Herunterladen sowie das Installieren unterbunden werden kann.
Da das in den Nutzereinstellungen gespeichert wird, die bei einer Deinstallation nicht gelöscht werden, könnte die Version 26.2.5.2 deinstalliert werden und die 25.8.7.2 wieder neu installiert werden.
