Hallo Susanne,
ich habe bisher mit OLE wenig gearbeitet. Der folgende Weg scheint aber zu gehen, wenn Du das Diagramm veränderbar halten willst: 

Erstelle ein Calc-Dokument mit 2 Tabellenblättern.
Notiere die Daten für das Diagramm auf dem 2. Tabellenblatt.
Erstelle das Diagramm selbst auf dem ersten Tabellenblatt. Dazu musst Du dann den Datenbereich selbst definieren.
In Impress wird bei der Erstellung eines OLE-Dokuments das erste Tabellenblatt direkt angezeigt. Die Größe der Darstellung richtet sich so nach dem Diagramm.
