Hello

i have installed this version (s. below) of LibreOffice which is my main and preferred text editor.
I have realized that the application, 4 documents opened, consumes 20% of my CPU,
although my PC has Pentium5i, 16GRam, I have a screenshot of the task manager
which documents this.

Version: 6.1.2.1 (x64)
Build-ID: 65905a128db06ba48db947242809d14d3f9a93fe
CPU-Threads: 4; BS: Windows 6.3; UI-Render: Standard;
Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE); Calc: CL

Do you have a solution for that?
Sometimes I have hang ups of the files and they are frozen and sometimes
they cannot be restored, specially the last items of change.
I admit that sometimes I have many documents open in parallel.

I just downloaded version 6.4.2.

Best,

Claus
