Das war's. Inzwischen ist die Klick-auf-Button-Sortierung so 
konfortabel, dass sie selbstständig den Block markiert, der 
zusammenhängend ist (also wie Strg+Nummernblock-Mal)

Alles klar. Die Schaltfläche kannte ich noch nicht. Danke :)

Etwas schade finde ich es immer, wenn solche nützlichen Befehle
ausschließlich per Schaltfläche und nicht auch als Befehl über das
Menü bereitgestellt werden.

Extras => Anpassen => Menüs => Menü: "Daten" => Einträge: "Filter" (d.
h. hinter "Sortieren ..."; oder wo immer Du die Menüeinträge hin haben 
willst) => Hinzufügen => Bereich: "Daten" => Befehle: "Aufsteigend 
sortieren" => Hinzufügen
