Hello again.

Ich habe das Problem gelöst.

Geholfen hat: http://www.office-loesung.de/ftopic200582_0_0_asc.php

Ich habe die LO-Pakete neu installiert und im Anschluß wurde die angeblich 
korrupte Datei problemlos geöffnet.

Offensichtlich besteht/bestand dieses Problembild bereits seit/in OpenOffice:
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=82902
