Aber ob, das wirklich die Anleitung ist, kann ich als Nicht-Macie nicht
sagen.


Nö  - die ist nur interessant, wenn man LO selber bauen will.
Installation unter Mac ist: Doppelklick auf heruntergeladene Datei,
Icon packen und in einen beliebigen Zielordner ziehen. Fertig. Für den
/Applicatios folder gibts gleich eine entsprechende Verknüpfung.
