Hi All,

With the upcoming redesign QA talked about this a bit. From my side, I think that the download page has a lot of information thrown at users which 99%+ don't really need to see and tend to remove focus from the main thing (which is the product for end users). A couple projects which seem to have really clean pages:

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop

These tend to focus on what most users care about (the project, vs. all the additional information).

Thanks all for the great work :-D

Best,
Joel
