Priority: medium
Bug ID: 62590
CC: website@global.libreoffice.org
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: TDF Site [DE]: Portable recommendation 4.0.0 is
unacceptable
Severity: major
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: LibreOffice@bielefeldundbuss.de
URL: http://de.libreoffice.org/download/portable/
Hardware: Other
Status: NEW
Version: 4.0.0.3 release
Component: WWW
Product: LibreOffice
2 Problems here:
a) Without explication that checkmark on green circle area is useful for
nothing, it has to be explained on that page what version is for what purpose /
user
b) 4.0.0 in reality is is a very very buggy Alpha version, it's not a good idea
to offer it with green checkmark and without warnings "only for early adaptors
with experience ..." on the same page. The hint concerning "Versionshinweise"
(release notes) is not appropriate, Version 4.0.0 is not listed there and such
a warning has to be on the same page as the download link
