I can have a look when the upgrade is done, yes.
Great.
However, I don't know how
long it will take.
Fair enough.
Alex told me that he has a lot of individual code in his
repository, because of the wishes issued for AskBot, so it is a hard and
tedious task to merge that ;)
Would it be possible for us to try to upstream some of those changes
and/or externalize them as plugins to reduce our burden on each
upgrade? I'm not really sure what these "wishes issued" were, so I
don't have a good picture of the total amount of work we've layered on
top of the official source.
I don't have much experience with Django, but if there's a repo
available with our local changes, perhaps I or other members of the
community could help with some of this porting/upstreaming burden?
Thanks,
