You recognized Valter himself wrote this enhancement request four
years ago?

The button is a button for "Export as PDF" - not for printing.
Printing button is right beside this. Here you could print in a file
and the default here is pdf and selected sheet.

"Export as PDF" should work like it works in Writer, too. And there
will be not much people, who only want to export the selected page.
