Might be easiest to reset your user profile to get back to default
configuration.

Otherwise, these steps...

1. Open a Writer document.
2. On main menu, be sure  View -> Status bar is checked active
3. Status bar then runs across bottom of the Application frame holding
LibreOffice
4. on the lower right is a Zoom level button
5. to left of that is a Zoom slider
6. to left of that are the three view modes--select one
Single-page view
Multi-page view
Book view

Default is Single-page view, select that and should get you back to work.
