Yes, and we continue to push out new GUI elements to improve the User
eXperience.

The default layouts of menus and toolbars have been extensively restructured
in a more logical fashion. The Sidebar Content Panels and organization of
the Deck is continuing to evolve--it is a long way from where Symphony left
it.

Individual modules are now stateful--where you left things is how they'll
reopen (a few glitches in linkage to the StartCenter).  Template management
and Style based authoring are getting reworked as well.

Also, the project is implementing a top edge "Notebook bar" as an
alternative GUI to the Sidebar or  legacy Toolbar GUIs. The "Notebook bar"
can be tested on current 5.3 master dev builds.

So, rather a lot has happened to move LibreOffice beyond the StarOffice and
OpenOffice legacy that mimicked Office 97.   LibreOffice as a cross platform
Office Suite is not Microsoft Office nor do we try to be.
