Hi :)
It's a shame the entire load of OOo extensions can't be mirrored on a TDF server
so that when the OOo servers are down people can still access whichever obscure
rare extension they rely on.

Are you saying LO cannot, or they just have not, done this?

I just rechecked my "personal" collection of .oxt extensions and I have well over 100 of them. I believe that I have PDF copies of their information printed from the information and linked pages. So all it takes is someone to start building the pages. I do not know if we should make it a mirror, but I think it should be our own page style.

These pages are LibreOffice North American Community DVD's short list of extensions and longer one for dictionaries. Would an expanded multi-page version of this be something that LibreOffice's main site[s] would want to link to? I could work on set of pages that would be dedicated to Extensions, Templates, and Galleries. There will be no search feature for my pages, since I have not done that type of work in a long time.

So what do you think? Should someone create a multi-page site listing as many of the extensions that are "popular" for the LibreOffice users? Maybe 100+ extensions, plus; all the dictionaries, all the galleries, and templates found or that works with LO properly?

"obscure rare extension" ? Well, there are those that are not popular, but many of them that I saw looks like they were work-around or addition that is no longer needed. But the one that deal with LaTex and other specific needs may still be useful.

Subject: [libreoffice-users] Issues with downloading extensions

When I open the Extensions Manager and then click on "Get more extensions
online", I'm sent to
http://libreplanet.org/wiki/Group:OpenOfficeExtensions/List.

When I click on different extensions, I get a lot of connection reset messages,
page not found, not allowed access to the page, etc.

Has anyone else had similar problems downloading extensions from this page?
