LibreOffice Extensions Test Website

Hello,

I worked on a new LibreOffice extensions (and templates) website for
quite some time. I created a new Plone add-on for this purpose with
fewer steps to contribute new extensions (templates).

You could view a test site with the current development status (without
a specific theme) at
http://vm141.documentfoundation.org:9096/LibOExtText/en
and with a very alpha theme at
http://vm141.documentfoundation.org:9096/LibOExt-Theming/en

I'm looking for your feedback.

Regards,
Andreas

First of all thank you for all your work. Feature-wise, I think you got all
the right features and details right so +1 for me.

For the theme, I think we should turn the green ribbon on top into something
less basic and perhaps more complex, like gradients or even some geometric
form such as the ones we may have for the upcoming 5.0.

What do you think?

Best,

Charles.

a) Can you create a category for Colour Palettes, Hatching Palettes,
and the rest of the objects that live in ~/config.

This is for extensions such as Parabolic Colour Palette.
(I thought that there was one that included Pantone Colours, but that
might be in the AOO repository.)

b) Is the new configuration going to include, or exclude extensions that
have no release:
* Chinese Punctuation TW
is one example.
*
http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center/libreoffice-getrest-plugin
is another example, albeit source code is offered.

Yes we/you can

Nearly everything you could create with CSS/Images is posible. The theme
product is based on static HTML and CSS in combination with a rules file
to connect the static template with the dynamic content of the CMS.

Hello,

I'm looking for your feedback.

a) Can you create a category for Colour Palettes, Hatching Palettes,
and the rest of the objects that live in ~/config.

The add-on is very flexible. The site admin could add as much categories
and LibreOffice versions as he likes or the user/contributors requests.
That could be done on the fly.

This is for extensions such as Parabolic Colour Palette.
(I thought that there was one that included Pantone Colours, but that
might be in the AOO repository.)

b) Is the new configuration going to include, or exclude extensions that

Could you please explain a bit more in detail what you propose for new
projects?
Should they have a release before they will be published?
Should projects with no release during the last year or another time
period send a warning to the owner?
Should the website send a message to the project owner that a new
version of LibreOffice has been added?

Andreas
