Florian,
For me, although I still can join the ConfCall but I prefer something
like IIRC so that I don't missed out any important point and can catch
up on what I have missed during my "away" in the middle of the
meeting.
Also, maybe some of us are not very fluent in English (or the call
charges are expensive)...
