Re: [libreoffice-marketing] Building a network of marketeers

Hi :)
I think a lot of the role is also likely to be highly responsive to journos and
'local' press. Quickly answering questions from them, adhoc interviews at a
moment's notice. Helping local teams, perhaps even tiny highly localised teams
to get articles about tiny highly localised events written-up in suitable
press. A lot of stuff that can't wait for English-speaking teams or higher
authorities within the wider LO community to develop a response.

Regards from
Tom :)

Hi,

I am not entirely sure we have defined what would be the roles of this
network. And I suggest that defining a basic set of roles first would help
us define what kind if skills we're looking for.

For instance, such a marketeer network ought to have as its primary mission
to translate the project's PR and to spread field information back and forth
(between the field and the more central areas of the project). Such a
mission, that I imho believe must be carried out before anything else,
requires the use of English. I'd be happy if we could set such a network and
let's see what else we can come up with.

Best,

Charles.
