yes, it is. But I don't think this touches the discussion about the 
abbreviation a lot. :-)

We haven't come up with something "official" yet, and for example, 
journalists will use the one or the other abbreviation. I personally use 
"LibO", for example at Identi.ca and Twitter, others use "LibreOffice" 
or even "LO" there. To me, "LibO" is a good choice, as it seems to be 
rather unique, and still is short. However, it needs to be adapted for 
other things. If we want to abbreviate the "LibreOffice Conference" with 
"LibOCon", that could as well be the Library of Congress. :-)
