Hi Drew,
My name is Drew Campbell and I'm the Marketing Director at The Top Floor, a Vermont IT firm. I agree with the other Drew that it's important to build name recognition for the LibreOffice brand. It is way too soon to shorten the name for marketing purposes...we need to drill the actual name into the market - LibreOffice, LibreOffice, LibreOffice...Though I agree that #libO would be a great Twitter hash!
Thanks for all the work you're doing to promote this!
~Drew

Personally - I think that if LibreOffice had some decent name
recognition then playing with a nick-name would be fine, but right now I
think it would better to focus on building that name recognition for the
real name.
However there are folks with real PR/Mktg background on the list and I
would certainly want to hear what they think on that.
LibO is cute for sure. For instance I think it is a great twitter hash
for us #libO.
