Hi, I'm resending this note to the mailing list, as I'm uncertain if the
previous moderator is still active. The note I sent to Andas is appended
below.

Best, -e.

Dear Andas,

Hope this mail finds you well.

I am writing this note after a rather long hiatus from the Tamil
localisation project for Libre Office. I am writing to raise a concern
about the status of the translation.

The deadline for Version 3.4.4 was Oct 23, and as of that date, the
completion rate was as follows:

untranslated: 991 words
unchanged: 1,926 strings

However, the status for 3.5 is stated as follows:

untranslated: 7,466 words
unchanged: 3,710 strings

I'm writing simply to confirm if this is logical -- if as many new words
and strings were introduced in 3.5 compared to 3.4.4.

Many thanks for your help, and my apologies for getting back to you after
such a long time. (Change in life circumstances.)

Best regards,
Elanjelian

Dear Andas,

One quick question: What is the next deadline for translations, and what
version will it be? (I'm sorry if this sounds like a repeat question.)

Hello,

Andas, thanks. Two questions:

1) How does one commits version control?

Pootle is not connected to version control directly.

2) How do we ensure our translations are included in the latest
release
version? Do you pick up the translation from the site and do the
needful?

2 days before tagging of git tree for release (beta or rc), I take
translations from Pootle and push them to git. You don't need to do
anything about it, it happens automatically. If I see a language
updated, then I update it in git.

Best regards,
Andras
