Hello all,

Please anyone tell me how to translate "Knbn" in LO?

It appears here:

Hi

I would be interested to read an expert's answer on what is going on here. Sometimes it seems
that the msgstr is pre-filled with a lot of random junk. In this case:

#-#-#-#-# index.po (PACKAGE VERSION) #-#-#-#-#\n
Tùy chọn\n
#-#-#-#-# chrdlg.po (PACKAGE VERSION) #-#-#-#-#\n
Tùy chọn\n
etc
etc

I interpreted this sort of thing as rubbish, deleted it all, and replaced it with the
translation of the word
"Options". I compared it with what has been done in the French translation, and that is what
they have done too.

It is not rubbish, it tells the translator in its imperfect way that
the word "Options" was translated as "Tùy chọn" in index,po, as "Tùy
chọn" chrdlg.po etc. Somewhere below there will be a different
translation, this is why the pomigrate2 tool lists all occurrences.
Translator can decide what the correct translation is, and replace the
list with the correct translation.

Best regards,
Andras

Thanks, Andras. I hoped there was a logical explanation, but it never occurred to me that it was
useful stuff.
