That may be so, but that is not the purpose of an office suite. Even professional graphics 
programmes are smart enough to offer their users a limited selection of colours in their palettes. 
If another shade is required, it can be created, no matter whether the programme is called 
Photoshop or LibreOffice.

Also, 16+ million colours is an unnecessary drain on memory resources and might cause crashes on 
some computers.
