A question that came to my mind: Should we place the "print empty pages"
setting more prominently on the general page near the range selection
...

Guess I should talk about it in the design meeting on Friday.

See this issue BTW:
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94343

Did I mention I want most stuff in LO 5.0, our next LO release ;-)

Nice!

P.S. Printing is generally problematic on Linux. Don't know how many
bugs we fixed, also in KDE / Qt and Gtk+, and a colleague developed
https://bitbucket.org/haftmann/macchiato

There's quite a bunch of issues in Bugzilla.
But - just checked the list again - many related to custom paper size,
setting or finding that option.. So I closed some, and intend to do that
with some more, as duplicates.

(From what I remember there is one bug (# ?) that a certain page size
setting converts always to a default size in the driver)
