With version 4.4, LO now opens with the sidebar open by default.

Having the sidebar opened with the properties button seams to be the only
default even if a menu above the 4 buttons of the sidebar has an option («
Personnalisation » in the French UI). It would be great if the user can
decide which button should be on by default.

I dislike the properties options to be on by default. This behavior pushes
the user to do manual formatting instead of learning to use styles.

So, I would like to be able to keep the styles button on by default when the
sidebar is opened and to keep this behavior with the « Personnalisation »
sub-menu found in the top right of the sidebar.

Raymond
