I have installed Libreoffice 4.3 rc1 on Debian Linux, but Writer has page
margin color on it.

Should I try 4.3 rc2 ?

Suspect it will make no difference for you.

But, perhaps try a different Desktop Environment or Window Manager with your
Debian installation, to see if rendering is more appealing.

Here is MS Windows 7 sp1 64-bit, en-US rendering at the LO 4.3.0.1 release.
