Hi,

Note that your screen reader should be able to speak mispelled words.
You're free then to review a doc, listen to your assistive techno,
moving to the mispelled word, pressing shift-f10 or App key to open
context menu, and choose a suggestion.

It's not perfect indeed, but fixing this would not be trivial I think.
That's why devs do not yet.

Regards,

Thanks for that info. :) Since these are known bugs, though, are they
being worked on? While the links show me that they exist, there's no
report on what I can expect to see as far as solutions. If my spell
check doesn't work, I'm going to accidentally end up presenting someone
with a document with errors that I missed. If Libreoffice spell check
doesn't work, does that leave me trying to find another alternative?
I'm stuck.

Hi Mark,

The primary bug affecting the spell checking dialog is that it doesnt
mention the word currently being flagged as mispelt.

Hi folks,
New to the list, and am trying to use libreoffice spell check. Using
orca 3.22, it doesn't seem to be accessible. My thinking is that I'm
probably just missing something, so figured I'd check in here to see
what I can find out.
Once I've completed writing a document, and bring up spell check, the
dialogues appear to be empty.
I can't tell what word it's flagged, nor see my choices to correct it.
Thanks for any help.
