Ich benutze ebenfalls LO 6.4.7.2, allerdings unter Win10. Bei mir ist
das Format vorhanden - ob aus dem Menü oder dem Kontext-Menü ist egal.
Ich gehe übrigens stillschweigend davon aus, dass Du Dich mit Deiner
Frage auf das Modul Calc beziehst!???
Ich bin zwar kein Linux-Spezialist, da gibt es auf der Liste profundere
Kenner dieses BS. Aber trotzdem die Frage: Aus welcher Quelle hast Du LO
bezogen? Direkt über die Homepage von LibreOffice? Oder von anderswo her?

Bei Format> Zahlenformat> Kontextmenü fehlt der Eintrag „Text“.
Muss ich eine andere Version installieren?
